GET BOOKS . LEGAL . PRINITING AGREEMENT
Printing Services Terms and Conditions
These Terms apply to anyone requesting printing through Get Books Printing Services — books, magazines, calendars, office supplies, stationery, and custom print orders. They work alongside our Publishing Terms & Conditions and Seller Terms & Conditions — sellers using Print-on-Demand for their own listed books are governed by Seller Terms Section 6 directly, and don't need a separate printing request. Where content overlaps, this document links to the relevant section rather than repeating it, so all three stay consistent as any one is updated.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. What these Terms cover
These Printing Services Terms explain how requesting, quoting, proofing, and fulfilling a print order through Get Books works. They apply to books, magazines, calendars/planners, office supplies, stationery, and other custom print orders requested outside of a seller's own Print-on-Demand listings (see Section 10).
2. Key definitions
"Customer" / "You": anyone submitting a printing request, whether an individual, institution, or business. "Order": the printing job requested, once quoted and approved. "Proof": a sample or preview of the final print output, provided for your approval before full production. "Print Run": the quantity of copies produced for an Order, from a single copy up to bulk institutional volumes.
3. Requesting a quote
3.1. You submit a request describing what you need printed and the approximate quantity.
3.2. We aim to respond with pricing and turnaround time within 24–48 hours; this is a target, not a guarantee.
3.3. A quote is valid for the period stated in the quote itself. Prices may change if you alter specifications (paper, binding, quantity, finish) after a quote is issued.
3.4. Submitting a request does not create a binding Order until you accept the quote and, where applicable, approve a Proof.
4. Proofing & approval
4.1. Before we print your full Order, you will see and approve a Proof.
4.2. Nothing goes to full production without your sign-off on the Proof.
4.3. Errors present in a Proof you approved (text, layout, color, spelling) are your responsibility once production begins — see Section 8 (Customer Responsibilities).
4.4. Revisions requested after Proof approval but before delivery may incur additional charges and affect turnaround time.
5. Production & fulfillment
5.1. No minimum order. We accept everything from a single print-on-demand copy to full institutional or bulk runs.
5.2. Products are produced only after quote acceptance and Proof approval — nothing is printed speculatively.
5.3. Minor variations in color, finish, paper, binding, or trim size may occur between the Proof and the final Print Run, consistent with normal print production tolerances.
5.4. Turnaround times quoted are estimates. Larger Print Runs, custom finishes, or third-party material delays may extend delivery timelines.
5.5. Orders are ready for pickup or delivered per the arrangement confirmed at quote stage.
6. Payment terms
6.1. Payment terms (deposit, full payment upfront, or milestone billing) will be stated in your quote.
6.2. Cash on Delivery is not available for Printing Services orders, consistent with Seller Terms Section 6 and 13.1 — production is triggered by your Order and carries a real, non-recoverable cost once underway, so orders are produced and/or dispatched only once payment is confirmed.
6.3. Custom and bulk orders may require a non-refundable deposit prior to production, as specified in your quote.
7. Ownership & rights in submitted content
7.1. You retain all ownership of any text, artwork, designs, images, or other content you submit for printing.
7.2. You grant Get Books a limited license to reproduce your submitted content solely for the purpose of fulfilling your Order.
7.3. Get Books does not claim any ownership or publishing rights over content submitted purely for printing — this is distinct from work submitted for Publishing House or Academic Publishing, where separate Publishing Terms apply.
8. Customer responsibilities & warranties
8.1. You warrant that you own or control all rights necessary to reproduce the content you submit, including text, images, artwork, trademarks, and any third-party material.
8.2. You are responsible for the accuracy of your submitted files and for reviewing the Proof carefully before approval.
8.3. You must not submit content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that violates the prohibited items and restricted activity standards applied elsewhere on the Platform.
8.4. If Get Books faces a claim because your submitted content infringes someone else's rights, you agree to cover reasonable losses and costs related to that breach, consistent with Seller Terms Section 19.
9. Cancellations & changes
9.1. You may cancel a request before quote acceptance at no cost.
9.2. Once a quote is accepted and/or a deposit paid, cancellation may not be possible once production has started, or may be subject to a cancellation charge covering costs already incurred.
9.3. Changes requested after Proof approval are treated as a new revision under Section 4.4.
10. Relationship to Seller Print-on-Demand
10.1. If you are a seller with books or products already listed on the Get Books Marketplace, Print-on-Demand fulfillment for those listings runs through your seller account automatically under Seller Terms Section 6 — you do not need to submit a separate printing request through this service.
10.2. These Printing Services Terms apply to standalone print requests: one-off jobs, non-marketplace items (magazines, calendars, office supplies, stationery), and bulk/institutional print runs.
11. Returns, defects & reprints
11.1. Because most Orders are produced to your specification and approved via Proof, they are not eligible for return due to change of mind once production has started.
11.2. If a completed Order arrives damaged, has a genuine printing defect (missing pages, unreadable print, binding failure), or is materially different from the approved Proof, you may be entitled to a reprint or refund. You may be asked to provide photographic evidence and to report the issue within a reasonable time of receiving your Order.
11.3. If a defect is caused by files or specifications you provided, responsibility for the error and any reprint cost sits with you, consistent with the approach in Seller Terms Section 14.4(d).
11.4. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights that apply under applicable law.
12. Limitation of liability
12.1. Get Books is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., lost business, lost opportunity) arising from a printing Order.
12.2. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier, customs, third-party material suppliers, or events outside our reasonable control.
12.3. General limitations of liability otherwise follow Seller Terms Section 20.
13. Privacy & data
Your personal and business information submitted with a printing request is handled per Seller Terms Section 16.
14. Governing law & disputes
Governed by the laws of Pakistan, consistent with Seller Terms Section 21.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as our printing process evolves. Continued use of our Printing Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
